Aa'shiq al-Rasul – meaning ‘Lovers of the Prophet (s)’ – formed as a Nasheed group in the summer of 1998. The core members are Amran Ellahi, Sheraz Yaqub, Kamran Ellahi and Tahir Khan and percussionist Usman Malik.
First featured on "Yusuf Islam & Friends - In Praise of The Last Prophet!" with two tracks, following up with one track on his “Bismillah” album.
Mentored Raihan on their Allahu track, as well as publishing 6 albums in the past ten years.
